My Story
I am running the London Marathon on 28th April 2019 to raise money for Cancer Research, a charity very close to my heart. My amazing mum has fought and beat cancer twice in her lifetime. Her strength and courage is all the inspiration I need to get me across the finish line on 28th April. I will also be running in memory of my cousin Caroline and my family and friends who have been affected by cancer. I am hoping to raise what I can to support Cancer research to identify causes and develop strategies for prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. Helen x

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
