What can I say... cancer is a truly terrible, devastating disease that affects so many people. My dear, brave hearted mum lost her 15 year battle with cancer this year and I'd have done anything to cure her of such a terrible disease and painful struggle. Since I have been participating in a few sporting events lately for my personal 'enjoyment', I thought I'd do three final challenges (3 races in 3 weekends) this year to raise money for such a great charity in her memory! I will be running the Folkstone half marathon on 24th September, the Lincoln half marathon on 1st October and the Paris 20km on 8th October.
