Last year I watched my Mum fight cancer. So this year I'm running for her.
My Story
When my Mum found out she had cancer last year, she said she thought it was a death sentence. Now just a few months on, she's back to health and is looking forward to a cancer free future. And after several years my Mum in Law is still going strong, despite her cancer. I am running to raise money so that through research, more people can move on with their lives, even after a cancer diagnosis. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me whatever you can manage. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
