My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300+ miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. I will be pedalling harder than ever because I want to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer is touching all of us, I have seen the devastation losing loved ones to cancer causes, and just recently it has touched my own life, my mother-in-law has been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Inoperable, and in limbo awaiting details of her treatment and care plan..it’s a horrible killer, let’s kill it.... Combining a new found love of cycling and raising money to help find a way to fight this dreadful disease has become a very personal challenge. It won’t be easy, as I’m new to peddling (plus I live near hills!!!). Thank you for all your support and kindness... let’s beat cancer together
