I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in September 2017 with it having been discovered through a routine NHS mammogram scan, wasn't I lucky! If I hadn't attended this appointment (seventeen people didn't that day!) then I would be telling a very different story. I am so utterly grateful for the support received from my husband, friends, colleagues, parents and pupils at The Peterborough School and last but most certainly not least the Breast Care/Oncology Units at Kettering and Northampton. It is now my mission to help in any way that I can to raise money for this worthwhile cause.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
