Helen Jenny & Rach are fundraising!

We are running the Race for Life 10k on the 18th of June 2017 in Aintree, in support of all those fighting cancer and those who have beaten it, and in memory of all those we have lost to cancer. We are running in memory of Rachel's Grandma Maisie McVey who died in 1989 from Lung cancer and her Nanna Pat Smith who we lost in 1990 also of lung cancer, both loving grandmothers who fought bravely against this horrible disease until the end. We also run support of Marge, Jenny's Nan, who bravely fought and beat bowel cancer in 2012. And we run in memory of Helen's mum Gaynor Atherton who sadly lost her battle in November of 2015 to the rare cancer Goblet Cell Carcinoid of the appendix. Gaynor was an amazing, strong and courageous woman who was taken far too soon, her family and friends miss her every day. We are really quite novice runners and this is quite a challenge for us so we would massively appreciate any support and donations!
