My Story

Here we go again! We had a year out last year, but this year, to make up for it, we're doing two Race for Life events each. I'm doing the Hackney and Finsbury Park Race for Life 5ks, and Georgie is doing Race for Life 5k with me in Finsbury Park and she completed her Pretty Muddy 5k (Enfield) last weekend. We beat our target last time, thanks so much to your generosity and, as predicted, Georgie moaned every single inch of the way, which she has confirmed that the break won't change - the pain of a 5k run has nothing on her moaning I promise! So far, we've raised over £2500, which we're quite proud of, but we're not resting on our laurels..as cancer's not beaten....yet...so we're aiming to raise another £500 this year. I know I say it every year - but EVERYONE is or has been affected by cancer in one way or another and we hope by doing this once (or twice!) a year, we can be part of the team that beats it.
