My Story
I have decided to run this 5k in honour of those who suffer from cancer. The main two people in my life I am going to be running for, is my grandad who sadly passed away last year, not of cancer but he was a sufferer. But also my strong amazing fighter of a nan, who sadly has now passed away after her battle with cancer.. she never once complained or gave up, she battled her way through all the way to the end. I am so proud of how strong they both were and how I am honoured to have had them both in my life. I will truley miss them so much. People are battling this horrible thing on a daily basis but still come out fighting and even more determined to beat it! My nan was looking forward to me doing this, now she sadly can’t be here to see me run, but I’ll be doing it in their honour and I am even more determined to raise as much money as I can for this charity. So dig down in your purses, wallets, down the side of the sofa to donate anything, even a small amount of change helps, and donate to this amazing charity. Thankyou! ... Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
