Heather's 1 million steps for cancer research from home
In memory of
My mum
12th Apr 1941 - 26th Dec 2003
Cancer has touched many of our lives. It touched mine in a big way in 2003 when it took my beloved mum when I was 21. It was the hardest experience of my life, one I have to live with everyday - I say live with because you never really get over losing your mum. She never got to do many of the things most grandparents take for granted - she never got to meet her grandchildren. If I can raise even a small amount to help someone else not have to go through what I did then this is all worth it.
