Heather's Race for Life
Wakefield 5k 2018
Sun 17 Jun 2018
Cancer is happening right now, it certainly happened to me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2016. Fortunately I made it through the surgery and the horrendous treatments with the help from my loved ones and the dedicated team of doctors and nurses that made it a little bit bearable when I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to help raise money and save other lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
