Heather's Race for Life
Stevenage 5k 2018
Sun 8 Jul 2018
After having a hip replacement and not being able to walk without pain, or run at all for the last 6 years since the accident, I've decided that now I'm on the mend I'm going to go for a run! (the first attempt in the 6 years of recovery!) I'm not even sure if I will be able to run by this race date (8th July) but as it falls on my 32nd birthday I thought it would be fun and pretty momentous. So feel free to sponsor me and also help me raise some pennies and pounds towards Cancer Research. I am lucky to have made a full recovery with the help of a new hip and so to be grateful and for good karma I'm giving back with the only way I see apt and that's to run like I haven't been able to for years! I'm already imagining what it will be like to cross that finish line! So go ahead, help me conquer this milestone. Thank you! Xxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
