My Story
We all know the statistic that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Those closest to me know that this is a statistic that has majorly affected my life. This is the reason why 6 weeks ago I decided to start running and signed up for the Reading Race for Life. Although this run may not seem challenging to a lot of people out there, for someone that hasn’t ran since school, it has taken lots of runs to be able to get to this point! With just over a week to go, I’m sharing my Just Giving page to raise funds for the search for cures and supporting those affected by this cruel disease. 🖤

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
