Cancer has effected too many people I know. Most people I know have too. Luckily, some have survived but some haven’t. Treaments developed through research helped people survive and extended time.

My Story

Time for another epic challenge! My cycling journey started with a 35 mile cycle; then London to Brighton; then 6 times the distance for London to Paris (5 times previous ride. Now time to triple the last challenge-980 miles in 9 days. It’ll be a hard challenge as it’ll mean doing over 100 miles each day for 9 days. I’ve given myself two years to prepare for this (since London to Paris) so should, hopefully, be ready.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
