My Story
Everyone has their own experiences and stories of cancer and how it has affected their lives. I had a parent taken from me too early because of cancer and have seen so many others affected by it since then - friends and family members. This is an opportunity for me to do a small amount to help research so others can avoid this horrible experience. Recently I have been training a lot to push myself to achieve new goals. Running a half marathon has been a target for a while and now I am going to be running two in three weeks! I will be running at both the Cambridge and Wokingham Half Marathon's and am looking for some support to make a small contribution to Cancer Research great work.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
