My Grandad
My Story
This year on the 9th May, my Bapou (my Grandad) passed away from a sickening disease – Cancer. Bapou, I miss you every single day and I will never forget the memories I have had with you. I hate cancer. THIS IS FOR YOU. On the 22nd June I will be taking part in a hike in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. With a decade’s experience helping some of the world’s biggest brands, we, Blue Square Marketing, are an industry-leading field and experiential marketing agency that accelerate brand performance. This year our staff have chosen to support Cancer Research UK. Thanks to research, cancer survival has doubled in the last 40 years, with 1 in 2 now beating their disease. But there is still so much to do. Today around 910 people will be diagnosed with cancer and half of them sadly will not survive their disease. With our help, Cancer Research UK can pursue their ambition to accelerate progress and see three-quarters of people surviving cancer within the next 20 years. Thank you for your support.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
