My Story
2011 was an incredibly hard hitting year for my family, with the loss of one of the most influential figures in my life; one of the kindest and loving people I have ever had the pleasure to know. My Grandee was my rock, and unfortunately he lost his fight with cancer, which absolutely shattered our hearts. But by participating in these events, I can hope to raise money to help fund the research in order to get rid of this awful disease.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
