My Story
For people who know me, know I'm not really a walking, active person, but this 100 miles in June popped up on Facebook, so I have decided to challenge myself this year. We have lost many family members to this nasty disease, some have beaten it and are still with us, but last year we lost a very very close friend of ours, also godmother to our daughter. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
