My Story
My beautiful and thoughtful little girl, Pippa, has always wanted to do something to raise money for charity and she has chosen Cancer Research and the Race for Life as her 1st fundraising event. Any support that you can give to help her achieve her £50 target would be fantastic. Cancer is happening right now and the statistics state that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, which is heartbreaking. £50 may not sound like a lot but every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
