My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Almost everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer. Back in 2017 my dad was diagnosed with cancer, luckily he saw the signs early and went straight to the doctor's. After an operation he was given the all clear which was a huge relief to me and my family. Not everyone is as lucky as my dad and unfortunately have to suffer a lot more than he did. Race for Life is a great way to raise money for Cancer Research. If you'd like to sponsor me, even if it's just £1, I would really appreciate it. Thank you :)

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
