Myself and dawn are trying to raise as much money as possible to help those going through the same as we’ve been through, and also to help prevent this from happening to other families by donating to cancer research. Our fathers were given only weeks and months to live after being diagnosed with terminal cancers. Unfortunately, after almost 5 years of fighting, my father lost his battle in 2016, but Dawn’s dad Brian is an absolute warrior and is still pushing on! We are hoping to give back to cancer research in the hope that we can help, even a little. Thankyou for taking the time to read our story! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
