On Monday 2nd April, I hosted a Bedworth Bake Off event. We had raffle, tombola and served tea and coffee. I asked for donations of cakes and we received 22! Which was brilliant. We sold slices of the cake and all in all raised a great amount for Stand up 2 cancer. Alongside this I had also completed the 10,000 steps a day challenge. Walk all over cancer. I’m completely overwhelmed with the help, donation for cake, raffle prizes from local small businesses and most of all the people who cake and made it a great success. The venue Oakwood Gardens in Bedworth let me use there venue for free and helped and supported along the way. My family has suffered a lot with cancer, losing family members and friends and currently my mum is having treatment for breast cancer.
