I’m not a scientist but I know we have more chance of surviving cancer today than we did yesterday.. and tomorrow will be better than today. There are so many charities out there that do the most wonderful things and Cancer Research is one of them. As they continue to receive our generous donations they can keep doing incredible things. Walking for approx. 11 hours is insignificant compared to receiving a cancer diagnosis, telling your family & friends and taking on the most brutal battle. We all know someone who has had to do that and whilst (fortunately) more and more of us will know that person can get through it, there are some that haven’t and some that won’t. So, in between the walk and the chat, the refreshments, the sights, the tiredness and pain, every single person taking part in this challenge will be thinking of loved ones they have lost. If you’ve read this far then all that is left for me to say is SPONSOR ME PLEASE.. this only works if I receive all the sponsorship I can. Thanks!
