In memory of
My Family and Friends who have been touched by cancer
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Back in 2014 I completed my eighth Race for Life, after my sister and I started running them in memory, of Grandad Adams and our Nan and Aunty Julia who had both beaten cancer. Sadly Aunty Julia's lost her last battle against cancer, in 2014. We are all touched by cancer in many ways, the last time I took on a Cancer Research Fundraiser event I raised just over £300 so please help us raise just as much again or even more – and show cancer who is boss! Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
