Seeing all the pain and distress that my mum is experiencing as a result of breast cancer.
Approximately seven months ago my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. This news came as a complete shock to my family as my mum has always been so health conscious and rarely ill; there is also no family history of it. As a result of the diagnosis, my mum has been through chemo, surgery and soon radiotherapy. It's been such a difficult time for all of us, but my mum continues to be brave and strong. The battle continues every day... not just physically but also mentally. I want to do this in the hope of raising money for a charity which will help to develop more advanced ways of fighting and curing cancer to make the pain easier.
