My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. My grandad has suffered from oral cancer for over six months, and seeing how it has affected him and our family makes me want to be active in raising money. Cancer can affect anyone at any age, and the money that Cancer Research receive can save lives. I hope that by the time I am my grandad's age, there will be a cure that can save brave men like him. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
