My Story
Another year has passed since Holly lost her fight to Brain Cancer. Another year and we are all still here to continue the fight, to raise money towards some kind of cure, for those still fighting. Harrison, Holly's son, Laura, her sister, me, Mum, Jacqui & Josie, Jayne (Auntie), Suzie have all signed up to walk, run or jog at this years Race for Life in Hasting on 10 June. We would be delighted if you can join us, if not, please donate. Every £1 helps. Thank you in advance. We are hoping to raise money that will make a difference towards a cure, awareness and help for all those fighting Cancer and it is definitely a fight! It is a horrible disease, cruel and doesn't care who it takes. Holly has been gone 3 years this December, which is so hard to still come to terms with. Holly wanted more than anything for people to be made aware of how horrible this disease is and so this is my legacy as her mum, to continue to make people aware and to fight to help make it easier for some, hopefully a cure for others. We raise money for Brain Tumour Research as well as Pilgrims Hospices, who all helped Holly in her journey. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
