I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer and in honour and privilege of my role model and my best friend my dad
My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. In November 2020 my best friend (Dad) was diagnosed with head and neck cancer, he started treatment on the 9th December and started his fight against Cancer. He got knockdown in the first round by Pneumonia and Sepsis but he got back to his feet and carried on the fight with the heart and will of a champion. On the 19th January his fight against Cancer will be over and he will have beaten it. He is such an inspiration to so many for how he has coped and has a heart of gold. For our family it’s only made us stronger and tighter. Me Jack and Sam have all come together and agreed to run in whatever my dad chooses and so far we have been told to run in pink tutus and princess crowns. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
