My Story
After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life with my husband and youngest son Jake at Home. Every pound donated will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so if you feel able we would really appreciate any sponsorship. This walk will be both with and in support of my husband Matt who’s had two operations recently this year to remove his thyroid due to cancer. We are delighted that our youngest son Jake has joined the team too. We also walk (as a team) in memory of Peter my Father-in-Law and in support of all our family and friends who have had to face cancer too.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
