My Story

Last year my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was the scariest thing in the world. However, thanks to an amazing screening program it was caught and treated early and a year on and she is all clear and as fabulous as ever! I feel so lucky to be able to say that my mum beat cancer but am also very aware for many this isn’t the case. I went on to work within Breast Surgery for 4 months and met hundreds of ladies and their families who received the same devastating diagnosis. We all have a loved one who has been affected by cancer. So much progress has been made in the last few years but the stats below are still shocking. A small fun run for a great cause.
