I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Last year my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was the scariest thing in the world. However, thanks to an amazing screening program it was caught and treated early and a year on and she is all clear and as fabulous as ever!

I feel so lucky to be able to say that my mum beat cancer but am also very aware for many this isn’t the case. I went on to work within Breast Surgery for 4 months and met hundreds of ladies and their families who received the same devastating diagnosis.

We all have a loved one who has been affected by cancer. So much progress has been made in the last few years but the stats below are still shocking. A small fun run for a great cause. Any small donations would mean the world, let’s help more people tell their positive story!

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
