Cancer doesn't care about age or how beautiful a person might be. How loved and important they are to their friends and family, it's cruel and takes it's own path. Hurting us all at any given time as it batters it's way through the lives of those we love. It's difficult to know how to breathe at times with cancer affecting us all in so many ways, destroying our faith and trampling all over our future plans but with the best of friends and tightest of family units we can smile at times and feel stronger now and then, for ourselves and those we love who we upsettingly watch in awe. We have all been affected by this devastating heart-wrenching disease that can seem completely unstoppable, but this year my sweet darling best friend has been challenged and I have never felt more determined. Jade is so loved, so respected and so admired and this summer "Jade's Girls" will show cancer exactly what we're made of! Try as you may, be as challenging as you please we've got our girl and we believe she will be one of the lucky ones! The statistics state that as many as 1 in 2 people will develop cancer in their lifetime, it's just awful - it's time to get it done, make our mighty move and make our dream girl proud.
