The beautiful Maggie Smith
I first met Maggie the morning of her wedding to Steve. Her smile that morning was one she wore day in and day out, no matter the circumstance. Whilst I only knew her a few years, she taught me ever such a lot. Her positivity, bravery and willingness to make the best out of any situation were inspiring. We walk next month to raise money for cancer research in her memory, with the hope that the money raised can help to prolong and even save the lives of others to allow them to make treasured memories with their families. Any donations you can make will be greatfully received. Those of you who know me will be aware the only walking I do generally is to my car or the pub; so for me this will be a challenge.
