My Story

This challenge is incredibly personal to us. 💗 This year has been a year like no other for our little team. Our lovely Lisa has faced cancer, and it’s difficult to put into words just how tough this year has been. Cancer has a way of turning everyday life upside down, bringing uncertainty, fear and challenges that nobody should have to face. But throughout it all, we have been completely in awe of Lisa. Her strength, vulnerability and bravery have inspired us more than she will probably ever realise. We’ve seen first-hand that being strong doesn’t mean pretending everything is OK. Sometimes, strength is simply taking things one day at a time, accepting the difficult days and continuing to move forward. That’s why, this November, we’ll be reading every day in support of Cancer Research UK. If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, we would be so grateful. Every contribution helps support research that could lead to better treatments, earlier diagnoses and more precious time with the people we love. After the year we’ve had, this challenge means more to us than we can say. For Lisa, and for everyone whose life has been touched by cancer. 💗

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
