My Story
We are An Inclusive Future, a small but passionate mental health peer support service based in the North West. Every day, we support individuals who are navigating some of life’s toughest challenges—offering understanding, compassion, and a listening ear from people with lived experience. But now, we're coming together for something even bigger. Like so many others, cancer has touched the lives of our team and the people we support. Some of us have lost loved ones, some are supporting friends through treatment, and some are survivors themselves. We've seen how cancer affects not just the individual, but entire families and communities. That’s why we’ve decided to host a Family Fun Day—a community event full of laughter, connection, and heart—all in aid of Cancer Research UK. We're raising funds to support life-saving research, better treatments, and a future where more people survive cancer. This cause is deeply personal to us, and every penny raised will go directly to supporting the work that changes lives every day. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
