My Story

In 2008 my grandad sadly passed away from cancer. This left a huge hole in our family, he was so kind, caring and funny always making everyone laugh. Whenever I look at pictures of us from my childhood I’m reminded of our happy times together. Then I remember he is no longer here, and we’ll never be able to laugh together or make new memories, I’ll never hear him say ‘lovely jubbly’ or something silly and sweet. I think he’d definitely have something to say about me signing up to run the London marathon he’d probably call me crazy! In all seriousness though, Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Any donations are welcome big or small together we can help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured so that another family doesn’t have to go through the same pain mine did. 🩷 Thank you for your generosity and support.
