My Story
Hello! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Last year my partner was diagnosed with bladder cancer and as a result of swift diagnosis, treatment and two operations, he is currently cancer-free. We are very fortunate to have put this horrible time behind us and hope we don’t have to go through it again. Those of you who know me well, will know that I have always wanted to train and race in an IronMan. I began training 3 months before my partner fell ill and it was dropped to the bottom of the list of priorities pretty quickly. It’s great to try and get the best of both worlds so to kick start my training while raising money for a charity now close to our hearts, I’m going to complete the IronMay Challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
