Hannah's Fundraising for Breast and Ovarian Cancer

Hello and Welcome! This is my fundraising page and I will be posting a lot of photos, videos and other stuff here over the next 10 months. This year, I found out that I have the BRCA1 genetic mutation. This gene mutation means that I have about an 80% chance of developing breast cancer in my lifetime and up to a 60% chance of developing ovarian cancer. Learning this was a bit of an emotional journey; my wonderful mum had this mutation which sadly lead to her passing away when I was 13. Although it is sadly too late for my mum and for countless others and their loved ones, fundraising for Cancer Research is a great way to increase the chances that new treatments, drugs and therapies can be found to help stop this from happening to me or anyone else. So! I will spending the next 10 months doing lots of cool/hard/fun/weird things for Cancer Research! I will be running, wearing pink, singing, writing, giving up things, donating my hair, hosting events and much more for this amazing cause.
