My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. I am raising money for Cancer Research UK and trying to make a little difference to those people who are affected by this horrible disease! On Saturday 16th November 2019 I am holding a Charity Event for Cancer Research UK. I wanted to organise this event to raise money for a cause so close to my heart. The idea came to me on one of my visits to the hospital with my Grandma, from sitting in the Cancer Centre at Guys Hospital watching patients wait for their treatment I realised how much I could help people suffering from Cancer and also the NHS by fundraising. It really is heartbreaking process and something that no one should have to suffer with. I have decided to name the event The Rose Ball after my Grandma "Valerie Rosina Vallance". In July my friends and I completed a 10K run for the charity and we raised over £3,000. I would love to raise the same if not more for such a great cause. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured! Thank you in advance for supporting this journey.
