My Story
Every 2 minutes - the time it will have taken you to read this; someone in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer. This may be you, a loved one or a close friend. The majority of people will have been affected in some way by this disease and witnessed the variety of professions which support individuals and families along each journey. Research has a variety of flavours, whether it be researching targeted therapies for advanced forms of the disease or investigating modes of cancer development in order to develop and improve early detection methods - directly or indirectly this will affect you. The cost of all this investigation is not trivial. Personally working in cancer research I have experienced first hand the mounting costs of experiments in order to find answers to add to this giant jigsaw puzzle of knowledge. My research journey became personal last year and makes it even more pertinent that we have people championing this cause. Whatever you can give, be it the price of a cup of your favourite coffee it all adds up. Keep supporting. Thank-you.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
