My Story
I count myself really lucky to have people who are close to me who have fought or are winning the fight with cancer and are now living full and meaningful lives, however there are some who I will always remember for their strength during their fight which they sadly lost. You don't expect it to happen to you or your nearest and dearest at any age but unfortunately it does and we are all affected. That's why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. For anyone who knows me you'll know I'm not a runner in the slightest and these days barely do any sort of activity so this will also be a challenge for us all. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
