I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Since taking part in a 40-mile trek along the Great Wall of China, fundraising £2939 for Childreach International who help towards child trafficking and more, I promised myself to fundraise £1000 each year. And since then I have kept to my word! I raised a total of £1,879 last year for multiple charities however, Cancer Research is one I would like to fundraise for repeatedly and this is why...

Whilst at college I found out 2 of my family members had been diagnosed with cancer, thankfully after receiving not only treatment but support 1 had recovered from breast cancer. Thanks to Cancer Research can continue making new treatments to help people thanks to their supporters and can help families get through a very difficult time. This is why I hold this charity close to my heart and hope to continue fundraising for them.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to those who suffer from cancer, their families and Cancer Research’s groundbreaking work, so please support me.

Thank you for taking your time to read this.
