Hadley's Race for Life

My little Prince decided a while ago he’d like to do a “running race” to raise money for people who need help. I then explained to him in basic language about Race for Life etc and how the money goes towards helping people with Cancer. Unfortunately Cancer is in our family. He also knows that Mummy’s friends Natasha & Helen passed away from Cancer which made Mummy very sad. This made him even more determined to help raise money. So after looking for “child-friendly” races, I came across this mud race (and anyone who knows my son will know that mud is his best friend at times!!!). Him & I decided that this would be the perfect race for him because he needs a guardian (me of course!). I’m really excited to do this with him because it will be good bonding going for practice runs everyday, and super fun doing the actual race together!! I’m also proud that this is my 7 year olds idea (and not just an “idea”... he’s been on at me for months to sign us up for something like this!!). I love the way he’s so determined to not see people suffer and how he’s always wanting to help others, whether it’s something like this, selling his toys so he can give the money to charity, or begging me to let him give his pocket money to all the homeless people come across!!! We would be so grateful for your support in this, considering so many families are affected by this horrendous illness. Even just a few £ could make a difference when all added up!
