Group 47 Tour de Tesco Fundraiser

My Story

Rob Milner’s 300 mile Tesco Store Challenge Supporting Cancer Research UK Cancer affects all of us. Across Group 47, covering Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight, every Tesco store has been touched by cancer in some way—whether through colleagues, friends, family members, or customers facing their own battles. To help make a difference, our Store Manager, Rob Milner, is taking on an incredible challenge: cycling 400 kilometres between Tesco stores across Group 47. Over the course of the challenge, Rob will visit stores throughout the region, raising awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK while demonstrating the power of our Tesco community coming together for a cause that impacts so many lives. One Team, One Goal Rob’s ride is just one part of a wider fundraising effort across Group 47. Stores throughout Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight will be supporting the campaign through a variety of fundraising activities, including: * Static bike ride challenges * In-store fundraising events * Raffles and competitions * Bake sales * Community events * Colleague-led fundraising initiatives Together, we are aiming to raise as much money as possible to support life-saving cancer research and help bring forward the day when everyone can live longer, better lives free from the fear of cancer. Why We’re Riding Every store within our group has a story. Many of our colleagues have experienced the impact of cancer firsthand, whether personally or through loved ones. This challenge is dedicated to those currently fighting cancer, those who have overcome it, and those we remember.
