My Story
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This year two members of my Norfolk family have been diagnosed with cancer. Sam's stepmother, Jenny, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She calmly breezed her way through it, barely missing a beat. His littlest niece, Penny, was then diagnosed with leukaemia. Her treatment journey is a longer one, but she is a superstar, keeping us (and the medical staff she meets) entertained as she makes her way through it. Thanks to the NHS and the incredible advances in cancer treatment and care, both are well on the way to recovery. Please donate what you can to support Cancer Research UK. A group of us are taking part as a team and we are dividing the money we raise between breast cancer and children's cancers.

CAUSE
Breast cancers
Each year, over 56,800 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK. That’s more than 150 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat breast cancer.
