Great Golf Challenge
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This September, I'll be part of the team taking on 72 holes of golf (4 rounds) in one weekend to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Help me fund life-saving research by sponsoring me and together we will beat cancer. On Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September, myself and three friends are taking on The Great Golf Challenge for Cancer Research UK. The challenge is to play four rounds of golf (72 holes) in one weekend, however we will be doing it in 24 hours. I know to many of you this will just sound like me playing golf for a day but we will be starting on Friday evening, not finishing until late on Saturday and walking over 20 miles. As you know I’m not the fittest guy so I may enjoy the first round but certainly won’t be enjoying much more of it lol. Some of you will know that my dad, Mick Harper, died from cancer so this cause means a lot to me and I will be doing the challenge in his memory. This is also for other family and friends who have lost their life to cancer, including my Grandma Dot, Aunty Janet and Craig’s mum Prudence. All donations are greatly appreciated so, if you can, please help me to reach (and hopefully exceed) my target. Thanks to those who have already donated and those who donate after reading this.
