Alan Torrance
A challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK, for motorcyclists on cheap and inappropriate motorcycles to ride from Land’s End to John O'Groats in 24hrs on the longest day of the year. Bikes must have been bought for no more than £600! I've done this a few times now and it never gets easier but always more fulfilling to know I am helping to support and raise money to invest in the research to find a cure.. As many people who know me my father, Alan Torrance, lost his life to cancer but he fought it for as long as he could and didn't ever give up, nor will I doing this challenge This year is slightly different...my good old Kawasaki Jaffa Cake has had to go into retirement but I have found another banger that will be turned into the new (well no its 30yrs old) Jaffa Cake so you'll have to wait and see what it is!! Donate as much as you want and can afford there are 35 of us doing it this year and your money will go into the pot towards the research and support people who suffer from this terrible disease.

Brain cancer
Each year in the UK, more than 12,288 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
