My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This September, I'll be part of the team taking on 72 holes of golf (4 rounds) in one weekend to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Pleas help me and the team fund life-saving research by sponsoring me and together we will beat cancer. 14 years ago, I lost my dad to a brain tumour. It was a huge shock and a terrible time, and I'm sure there are many of my friends who have similar experiences with cancer. The work that everyone did to care for my dad when he was diagnosed was invaluable to help give us a little more time, and I am eternally grateful for all the great times we had together throughout his life. He lived his life fully and brought happiness to us all. Golf was a huge part of his life and has so many fond memories of our times together as a family. The game has brought great happiness and many friendships, so what better way to honour my dads life and to help raise funds for those that are trying to help everyone who may battle this terrible illness in the future.
