My Story
We are excited to host a series of fundraising events this October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October, we will be organising engaging events, including a highlight sausage roll eating competition between two young’s pubs, Royal Oak and The Owl and Pussycat. This event aims to bring our community together, raise awareness, and generate funds for breast cancer research and support services. Sausage Roll Eating Competition Dates: 24th October @ The Royal oak, 73 Columbia road, E95EU Description: • A competition to see who can eat a 1-meter-long sausage roll the fastest. • Locations: THE ROYAL OAK - Team Owl (The Owl and Pussycat) vs. Team Royal (Royal Oak) vs Team customers. Teams: • Each team consists of 5 members. • Team Oak, Team Owl and Team customers Entry Fee: • £2 per participant. Prizes: • Winning Team: Pride, glory, brewery tour, bragging rights, a £50 bar tab, and a goody bag. • Sponsored prizes to be won throughout the event day.
