My Story
On 15th July 2017, the friends and family who knew and loved Greg will be taking part in Pretty Muddy Birmingham 5K. Greg was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all, he was a wonderful man with a positive outlook on life, his caring nature extended to his family, friends and career, and he touched the hearts of many. After being diagnosed with Cancer in May 2015, Greg began his fight against the disease with the support of everyone who loved him. After fighting the disease for two years he tragically lost his battle with Cancer in the early hours of the morning on the 8th April 2017, with his wife and daughters by his bedside. Greg's Girls are running in his Memory, remembering his brave battle with the awful disease, and raising money to support Cancer Research UK. Raising money to help fund scientists, doctors and nurses, will help advance research into cancer treatments. Sadly Greg lost his life, but if we all work together to raise money, we can prevent Cancer affecting the lives of families like Gregs in the future. All donations, however big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
