My Story

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service's Gosport Fire Cadets 2024 are bracing the Portsmouth Pretty Muddy 5K to raise money and save lives! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and has impacted us as cadets each in our own way. Our 2023 cadets raised an incredible £1229 so let's try and beat them! Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now. Fire Cadets is a nationally recognised programme which offers young people aged 13 to 17 the opportunity to gain essential social, life, work and wellbeing skills, including a BTEC Level 2 qualification and develop their confidence and personal skills. You can find out more about what we do here: https://www.hantsfire.gov.uk/community/young-people/fire-cadets/
