My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to walk 100 miles in October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. Most people have been affected in some way by cancer, whether it be family, friends, work colleagues or acquaintances or indeed themselves. Myself I have had an older brother who had prostate cancer, a son who has a rare type of leukemia (thankfully in remission), a very good friend who was treated earlier this year for prostate cancer and two friends who lost there lives to cancer during lockdown. Plus many many more over the years. Some who survived but many who sadly didn't. So I am undertaking this challenge to help raise further funds for CRUK for them to continue the invaluable work they do in research into this awful disease. I aim to walk the 100miles with my puppy Louis (having just completed a similar challenge for #BLISS) but I will also be logging daily milage which should come out to about 140/150 miles. Any support given will be gratefully received and will be going to a very worthy cause. Many thanks

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
